Terms
The agreement between you and Joocy for using joo.cy. In short: use it to present, keep your content legal and kind, your content stays yours, and during early access Joocy is offered as it is.

Agreeing to these terms
Using Joocy means you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. If you use it for an organisation, you agree for that organisation too. "We" and "us" means the people who run Joocy.
Presenter accounts are for people 18 or older. Audiences of any age can join a session that a presenter runs.
Early access
- New presenters join by invite while Joocy is in early access.
- Features can change, appear or go away as we build. We try not to break what you rely on, and say so when something big changes.
- If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you before anything you use becomes paid, and you can choose not to continue.
Your account and your keys
- Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Keys you make for AI agents act as you: anything an agent does with your key counts as done by you. Keep keys private, and delete one you no longer use.
- Tell us at hello@joo.cy if you think someone else is using your account.
Your content stays yours
You own your decks, files and results. You give us permission to store, process and show them only as needed to run Joocy for you: on your screens, on your audience's phones, and to the AI agents you connect.
- Upload only what you have the right to use.
- When people in your audience send answers, photos or voice notes, they let you show them during the session and keep them as your results. Ask only for what your session needs, and handle it respectfully.
- Slides and phone screens you write in code run in sealed sandboxes. Use them for your presentations, not to attack anyone or reach past the sandbox.
What you cannot do
- Break the law, or help anyone else break it.
- Upload or ask for content that harasses, threatens, sexualises minors, spreads hate, or invades someone's privacy.
- Collect passwords, payment details or other sensitive information from audiences.
- Send spam, malware or phishing, or pretend to be someone you are not.
- Overload, scrape, probe or try to break Joocy, its sandboxes or other people's rooms, beyond normal use of the app and the API.
- Resell or rebrand access to Joocy without our written agreement.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we tell you why when we can.
The service
- As it is: Joocy is provided as it is and as available. We work to keep it fast and reliable, including on weak venue wifi, but we cannot promise it will never fail during a talk. Keep a plan B for a talk that matters.
- Limits on liability: as far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost data or a talk that did not go as planned. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.
- Stopping: you can stop using Joocy and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend an account that breaks these terms, or close the service with reasonable notice so you can download your results.
Changes, law and contact
- Changes: when these terms change, the date at the top changes. If a change matters, we tell signed in presenters first. Using Joocy after a change means you accept it.
- Law: these terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, decide any dispute, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
- Contact: hello@joo.cy.
