Joocy vs AhaSlides

AhaSlides and Joocy both let an audience answer live on their phones, and both let Claude or ChatGPT build slides through an MCP server. AhaSlides suits teachers and trainers who want many quiz formats and games on a free or low priced plan; Joocy, in invite-only early access, suits presenters whose own AI should also run the live session, whose slides can be code or 3D worlds, and who want each person addressed by name.

What only Joocy does

Of the two, only Joocy lets your AI start the live session and move its slides, lets a slide be your own code wired to the room, and changes the words for each person in it.

Your AI runs itAhaSlides' MCP server builds and edits slides, applies themes, reads results, and can edit or skip slides during a live session; we found no mention of it starting a session or moving the slides. In Joocy an agent can also start the session, move the slides while you talk, send a live cue to every phone, write coded slides and design transitions. Every change is a version you can undo, and there is an API and a skill file too.
Code and 3DAn AhaSlides Embed slide frames another page. A Joocy coded slide is your own HTML with three.js, WebGL or GSAP that draws the room's answers as they arrive, and a tap on a phone can light up the scene on the wall. A deck can be one 3D world the camera flies through. Picture a night sky where every person who joins becomes a glowing star with their name on it.
Every personAhaSlides collects names and details. Joocy also puts them to work: a phone can read "Photographer, how was your year?", results split by an earlier answer on the big screen, and only the photographers get the follow up while everyone else answers something of their own.

Choose AhaSlides for classroom quizzes and games, for a free or low cost plan today, or for very large audiences. Those are real strengths, and they are the reasons to pick it.
